Milind Shah, MD, MPHDr. Shah is the Director of Occupational Health for Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. He and his staff have responsibility for all employee health matters for the University, including providing clinical care for work-related injuries and illnesses, medical surveillance, and wellness services for all employees. He also has oversight of OSHA compliance activities related to occupational health. Prior to joining Rutgers in 2011, he was the Leader of New Jersey and Pennsylvania Clinic Management at Merck & Co., where he managed all aspects of clinic operations at eight Employee Health centers serving approximately 25,000 Merck employees. He also led the integration of the Schering Plough Employee Health clinics in 2010 after Merck’s acquisition of the company. Prior to the acquisition, he held several positions of increasing responsibility in Employee Health Services with Schering Plough, most recently as Deputy Director for Global Services where he provided guidance and support on employee health and regulatory compliance to all of Schering Plough’s international and domestic sites, in addition to providing direct clinical care for employees in NJ.
